Meet Our Family

EMS is a group of churches that work together to support evangelizing Europe. Historical ties to planting churches in Europe have brought together these churches in New England, parts of the Midwest, Northern Virginia and Georgia. This coordinated effort allows us to connect and encourage one another through giving, praying, and celebrating all the good work God is doing.

Celebrating Every Soul

In Europe, often to save one soul it takes years of the spirit working in incredible ways, and many people dedicated to friendship and faithfully persevering to see a miracle take place. We celebrate with our brothers and sisters each unique soul won for Christ.

Each soul won for Christ is a miracle and a victory. This is Camilla's story, a native to Milan who was raised Catholic and dreamed of becoming a nun.

Our Family of Churches

New England

With a deep rooted history in sending and supporting missionaries in Europe, the members in New England have been faithfully supporting EMS for 40 years. Some graduates of the New England School of Missions are currently serving as missionaries in Madrid, Milan, and Prague.

Northern Virginia and North River

Both NOVA and North River are active in their sacrificial giving towards the mission in Europe. Their strong ties through the years with many countries, most recently France, has led to fruitful relationships, summer interns, and the current missionary couple serving the campus ministry in Paris.

Midwest

Chicago and the neighboring churches in the Midwest have provided crucial support to the mission in Europe over the years. They have supported and sent missionaries, some coming from their Midwest School of Missions. Their strong relationships with Eastern Europe have provided immense leadership and connection that continues to inspire us today.

Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe for EMS, is comprised of Ukraine and many neighboring countries. This region varies in religious background, language, economic and often political unrest. Much work has been done by the faithful disciples and missionaries, and much is still needed to be done. The most recent project RevivEE, is a faithful plan to bring a team to Budapest, Hungary to revive and build the church there. Please keep Eastern Europe in your prayers!

Central and Western Europe

From Brussels to Berlin, Western and Central Europe is comprised of a tight knit group of churches varying in size but with many families, teens, and a growing campus ministry. Despite the language barriers there are camps every year, to bring the youth together to build friendships and strengthen faith. The European School of Missions is in its second year with students from all across the region training together to be able to serve in their local nations in the future. Please keep Western and Central Europe in your Prayers!
