Bordeaux, France

Bordeaux is located one hour’s drive from the Atlantic coast, two hours from the Pyrenees Mountains that separate France from Spain and in the heart of one of the largest wine-producing areas of France. The city’s historic downtown is classified as a UNESCO world heritage site. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Bordeaux is the capital city of the Nouvelle Aquitaine region of France. This is a prosperous region offering a wealth of possibilities for excursions and day trips to fun and interesting locations.

Our congregation was established in early 2020 as disciples moved to Bordeaux over a two-year period starting with 7 disciples to the 15 we have today. All generations worship side by side in our church (youth, families and a Golden Years group) creating a united family eager and able to welcome any and all! Come join us in this new and growing church planting in Bordeaux!

Paris, France

The Paris church has been focused on the mission for over 30 years. Their dedication to celebrating every soul is showcased by their diverse membership. When one goes to Paris, they can expect to see Africans, Asians, Americans, and Europeans, all coming together to worship God. Their amazing worship ministry, coupled with their hearts for Christ, makes this church unique amongst others in Europe. Combine the hearts of the disciples with the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and Notre-Dame, one is in for a real treat when visiting this French family.

Lyon, France

Nearly 500 kilometres from Paris, lies Lyon. With nearly 500,000 inhabitants, Lyon, has been a remarkable mission field for God over the years. With over 40 disciples, the Lyon church continues to grow each year. Food is a must in this French city, and the importance feeds into the rich culture found here. 

Brussels, Belgium

Situated in what many call the capital city of the European Union, Brussels, known for Waffles, chocolate, and astonishing architecture, is home to a group of devoted disciples. Family is the main theme here in Brussels, and it shows by their diverse range of members. Everyone is represented, from young children to the beloved older generation. The members of the Brussels church, are true examples of those who seek the Father in Spirit and Truth. “But the hour is coming, and it has already come, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for these are the worshipers that the Father requests.” John 4:23

Munich, Germany

Best known for Oktoberfest, German sausages and beer, there is much more to be found here in Munich. A group of over 150 disciples call Munich home today, in a church building so close to capacity, more services were needed for this space. Micha and Dani Bruck serve in this church alongside a leadership team, which holds a unique combination of ICOC and traditional church of Christ members.

Düsseldorf, Germany

This small community in  Düsseldorf has been serving God since 1995. Their goal is to get to know the true nature of God, and to live out his will everyday of their lives. With over 600,000 residents in this city, the members of the church continue to reach out to Germans from all backgrounds to share the gospel.

Ramstein, Germany

The Ramstein Church of Christ is situated right near the United States military base in Germany. This base however is not your ordinary military base in Europe, in fact, Ramstein serves as the headquarters for the US air force in all of Europe. This means, when disciples get stationed, or new members of the air force arrive, disciples are waiting to invite all to hear the gospel.

Berlin, Germany

The capital city of Germany, Berlin, is home to a group of around 150 disciples full of faith and unity. Berlin is known as a multi-cultural city where many different languages are spoken, foods are sold, and cultures connect. With a population close to four million people, this has been a harvest ground for God’s people for many years. Not only is this church led by God’s Holy Spirit, but also a group of dedicated disciples, focused on the mission.

Milan, Italy

In 1991 a group of missionaries went out to Milan with the hearts to plant a church. Today, with roughly 80 members in the surrounding area, Milan continues to share their love and God’s mission with all Italians. Milan is known throughout the world for its fashion, food, and culture. Everyone who finds themselves in Milan, can look forward to the hospitality of the church members, and maybe if their lucky, a chance to taste some great home cooked meal. We have missionaries serving in the ministry there and students training in the European School of Missions.

Prague, Czech Republic

A small beautiful city located in the heart of Europe. Known for its beautiful architecture , the disciples are well known for their love and affection for the gospel.  Frank and Egle McDonnell serve as missionaries for the Prague church alongside the local leadership team, and continue to preach Jesus's message to a heavy atheist population in Prague. The church is currently full of energy and vibrancy looking towards the future and what God will surely do.

Zurich, Switzerland

The largest city in Switzerland Zurich, is home to a large church filled with great hearts for God. The Zurich church is known for their large group of children. Half of the church are children and the others are adults. The Zurich church is know for the love they share with others throughout Switzerland and Germany.

Geneva, Switzerland

The second largest city by population of Switzerland is Geneva. Thierry Fender serves in the ministry in Geneva along with an active leadership group. This French and English speaking group of disciples has been persevering for over 20 years. Together, they have been fighting the good fight as they work towards achieving God’s eternal promise. The Geneva church members are spread out around the Lac Leman and is comprised of many families and students.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

The capital city of the Netherlands, Amsterdam is a truly lively city with faithful disciples. Known as a famous tourist location for many Europeans, its been given the nickname the “Venice of the North” for its lively atmosphere. The group of disciples in Amsterdam is small, but their zeal for God is large.

Madrid Spain

Everyone is welcome to the Church of the Disciples of Christ, located in sunny Madrid. It is their diversity that brings people together. If someone is looking for Christ or is visiting this church, they will feel welcomed from their love and blessings.
